About the founder
Fadil Alawi has been employed extensively in new product development and in the commercial scale up and production of animal therapeutics and pharmaceuticals, with more than 20 years’ experience in New Zealand with market-leading animal health companies, Bomac and Bayer. He has overseen the commercialisation of over 15 products. He is a Chartered Member (MRACI Cchem) of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.

Fadil received his MSc in chemistry from the University of London and his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Dundee, UK. After finishing his doctorate, he worked extensively in the R&D of personal care and cosmetics and of pharmaceuticals overseeing new product development, technology transfers (GMP), residue analysis, clinical trials and technical expert opinion.
Fadil is an author of over 60 scientific research publications in diverse fields and has won several innovation awards. He is listed as an inventor or co-inventor on 26 patents. Fadil successfully oversaw the GMP product transfer of many New Zealand formulations to manufacturing plants in South America and Italy.
